A pitch deck, also known as an investor pitch deck or a startup deck, is a brief presentation that Coje Consultants can put together to give a quick yet detailed overview of your business to potential investors and raise funding to back your vision.

  • Investors want to know the scope and scale of your Company’s offer to gauge your product or service’s potential reach.  This does not mean it has to be a large market.  Still, it has to be appropriately defined, and how you are positioned within that market must be defined.


The Problem and How You’re Solving It:

  • Coje Consultants helps identify the problem and solution your product or service answers by providing real-life context through a customer journey.  Showing how your customers use your product or service and, most importantly, how it benefits their lives.


Product or Service:

  • Coje Consultants provides short tutorial videos or screenshots and demos of your product or service to show it in action and give potential investors a better understanding of what it is you’re making.

Traction:

  • In this section, Coje Consultants highlights the success that you have had thus far.  Through testimonials and words of praise about your product, level of engagement, money made, and market share received.

Team:

  • Coje Consultants puts a professional look and feel to the management team and key team members, showcasing their strengths and roles within this organization.  Also this section, Coje Consultants will showcase the holes in your team.  Investors are just as interested in what you have as what you don’t have.


Revenue Model:

  • Coje Consultants helps to showcase how you are making money now and how you plan on making money in the future.  This section also answers whether your customers buy your services or products once or whether it is a monthly subscription model.  This includes a pricing model.

Marketing and Sales:

  • Coje Consultants then talks about your marketing strategies and how you plan on getting the attention of your prospective customers.  This includes, but is not limited to, how you will differentiate yourself from your competitors.  And once you get their attention, what processes are you utilizing to convert them into paying customers.

Financials:

  • Investors will spend the most time on this slide and want to see your sales forecasts.  Next, they will want to know your cash flow and, if you have Seed investment money, how quickly you have been burning through it.  Finally, investors will want to know what your key expense drivers are and what your projections look like before wanting to hear about what you plan to do with their money.  And how much you are looking to raise without being overly specific.
